Lee Anne White is a photographer who explores natural, designed and cultural landscapes, including an intimate look at the plants and natural objects found in them. Her work has been exhibited in both solo and group shows, including 30 works on permanent display at Brenau University. Her work has been recognized by LensCulture, Art Photo Index, SxSE Photo Magazine, Adore Noir and Women in Photography International, and she is an instructor for the Maine Media Workshops in addition to running her own workshop programs.
White is also the author and photographer of ten books on landscape design and the former editor-in-chief of Fine Gardening magazine. She has photographed feature stories for magazines such as Fine Gardening, Organic Gardening, Garden Design, Kitchen Garden, Better Homes and Gardens, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, Southern Home, Landscape Architecture, Country Gardens and Country Living. She earned a master’s degree in creative studies at SUNY/Buffalo State and a bachelor’s degree in journalism, broadcasting and commercial art at Brenau University. She currently resides with her husband, Alan, in Gainesville, GA
